Ingredients
1 chopped onion
1-2 chopped celery stocks
1 chopped green bell pepper
1 diced tomato
chicken broth
rice
basil, garlic powder
chicken thighs, diced into chunks
Italian sausage, sweet or spicy, casing removed and meat browned
cooked, cleaned, shelled shrimp
Procedure
- Sweat onion, celery and pepper til soft
- add tomatoes, broth and rice.
- Season and bring to boil then reduce to a simmer ~ 20-30 minutes
- Once the rice is tender, add the meats and summer until everything is fully cooked through.
